withfocus │ Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how information is handled in the mobile application "withfocus" ("App").

Article 1 (Information We Collect)

To provide and operate the App safely, we may collect the following information.

  • An anonymous user identifier (UID) generated by the App
  • Transaction information related to subscriptions and purchases (transaction ID, product name, purchase date, etc.)
  • Device information, IP address, and log data
  • When using Room Creator: images and text entered by the user, generated images, and generation status

This information is collected automatically when you use the App.
The App does not collect personal information such as your name, date of birth, address, or phone number.

Article 2 (Purpose of Use)

We use the collected information for the following purposes.

  • Processing in-app purchases, ticket balances, and purchase restoration.
  • Preventing abuse, applying rate limits, and operating the service reliably.
  • Generating images through Room Creator, displaying generation history, and retrieving generated images.
  • Sending notifications about generation completion or failure.
  • Responding to inquiries and providing support.

Article 3 (External Services and Third-Party Provision)

  1. Room Creator uses the OpenAI API provided by OpenAI, LLC to generate images.
    • Images and text entered by the user are sent to the OpenAI API.
    • The App disables data sharing that would allow submitted inputs or outputs to be used for model training or improvement.
    • Exif data, including location information, is automatically removed before an image is sent. Contacts, notes, and other information not entered by the user are not sent.

    Submitted data is processed in accordance with the OpenAI API data handling terms.

  2. When you open the inquiry form from within the App, the following technical information is automatically sent to help improve support quality:
    • Device Name (e.g., iPhone 15 Pro)
    • OS Version (e.g., iOS 17.2)
    • App Version (e.g., 1.0.0)

    This information is used solely for resolving inquiries quickly and improving support quality. It does not include personally identifiable information.

The Operator will not provide user information to third parties except in the following cases:

  1. When disclosure is required by law
  2. When necessary to protect someone's life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the person's consent
  3. Other cases permitted by law

Article 4 (Data Storage and Deletion)

  1. Focus time records and settings stored on the device are deleted when you uninstall the App.
  2. In Room Creator, your uploaded photo is temporarily stored on the server only for the period necessary for generation, and is deleted after processing is complete. Generated images and generation history are stored on the server and can only be viewed by you in the App. They are not shared with other users.
  3. Uninstalling the App does not automatically delete data stored in the cloud. To request deletion, please contact us through the inquiry form.
  4. Upon receiving a request to suspend or delete data, we will delete or anonymize the relevant data in due course. Note that some data may be retained for a certain period for purposes such as abuse prevention, technical auditing, or legal compliance.

Article 5 (Changes to Privacy Policy)

The Operator may update this Policy as necessary in response to changes in laws or services.

  • Material changes: For revisions that may significantly affect or disadvantage users, we will provide advance notice in the App or on the official website and obtain any required consent.
  • Minor changes: Changes take effect automatically once posted in the App or on the website.
